OUR STORY

Faithful Friends Animal Clinic has been a veterinary practice that has long served Lebanon and the surrounding communities.  Its origins were with Dr. Ensley Storey.  He was a 1937 graduate from Washington State University and after a season of working with the Reid brothers in Albany, opened the Animal Clinic in Lebanon.  This practice was purchased by Dr. Donald Myrtue in 1969.  Dr. Myrtue expanded the practice, added associates, and built the current facility in 1980.  Dr. Steven Hiett began working at the Animal Clinic in 2005 joining Drs. Lori Walker and Victoria Murdoch.  His wife Dr. Kim Stender joined the practice in 2007.  In 2015 Dr. Myrtue retired and Drs. Hiett and Stender purchased the practice from him and renamed the practice “Faithful Friends Animal Clinic” in part because clients would often confuse the Lebanon Animal Clinic with the neighboring Lebanon Animal Hospital.  Along with Drs. Hiett and Stender, the practice now includes Drs. Kelsie Thielen, Martha Rideout, and Ashley Botha. 

 

The doctors and staff truly enjoy working as a team to continue to provide for the needs of dogs and cats in this region of the Willamette valley.  We take pride in being a part the community supporting 4H, FFA, and various community charities. Clients and community members enjoy contributing and viewing the photos, paintings, and drawings in our annual Art Contest each November.   We love the relationships we have developed with so many clients over many years and look forward to continuing to serve the community by providing quality veterinary medicine and surgery.
